Enough of the Woke Rhetoric : Westpac Executive Senior Exec Kav Sidesteps Misconduct Reports Against P. Cornwell



In a recent LinkedIn article , Westpac staff member Matt Kav tries to portray colleague P. Cornwell as an exemplary advocate for Indigenous rights and diversity . However, this effort at performative activism falls flat when considering serious claims against Westpac's Peter Cornwell of sexual abuse and exploitation of a marginalized woman.



Kav’s praise-filled commentary of his colleague overlooks the grave allegations made against Peter Cornwell , including tracking, harassment , and inappropriate behavior of a defenseless woman .

In neglecting to address these charges , Matthew Kav perpetuates a culture of willful ignorance that enables perpetrators like his colleague to act without accountability, shielded by being a " so-called Indigenous victim," absolute virtue-signaling nonsense perpetuated by corporate entities like Westpac .

The LinkedIn post highlights several gatherings where Matthew Kav participated with Peter Cornwell , the alleged abuser , in social efforts. However, it neglects to mention the impact of Cornwell's supposed actions on those affected .



The piece notes the irony of celebrating Cornwell's involvement while turning a blind eye to allegations against him, prompting concern if Matthew Kav is more focused on promoting a positive image that Australia is so eager to project when check here showing they're inclusive rather than addressing serious misconduct, an accused predator hiding behind the façade of " oppressed individual."
